Statistics

Where to find it:
Menu Bar - Statistics

On your statistics dashboard, you will find a detailed overview of all activities in your Employee Referrals account. This function is only visible for administrators and recruiters.

Performance Overview

In this section you will see how your referral tool performs overall, as well as being able to filter by "Location" and "Department".

The "Overall Statistics" show

  • how many jobs have been published
  • how many views have been generated
  • how many referrals became applications
  • how many applications were "Top Rated" and
  • how many applications were "Hired".

Apply a filter

You can apply a filter for the "Performance Overview" only. The rest of the statistics page is not filterable.

Select a time period

To filter your statistics for a certain time period, click on the calendar symbol in the top right and a new menu will appear. Next, choose a start and end date by clicking on a specific day in the calendar or by entering a date manually (top left).

As soon as you have chosen a start and end date correctly you can confirm your selected time period by clicking on the button "Apply".

If you would like to just see your statistics for a certain day, please double-click the day in the calendar or enter the date manually in both fields.

Additionally, we offer quick filters like "This week", "This month", "This quarter" or "This year".

Filter for locations or department

In addition to your selected time period, you can add a filter for locations and/or departments as well by clicking on the little arrow next to "Department" and/or "Location", where a new drop-down menu will appear. Choose the department and/or location you’re looking for and the "Performance Overview" statistics will update automatically.

Delete a Filter

To delete an existing filter, click on the function “clear filter”, top right (grey).

Published jobs

This refers to the number of jobs published during the chosen time period for the location/department selected at the time of publishing.

Please note!

If you change the location or department of a previously published job, the job description will be updated; however, the statistical information will not be updated.

The reason for this is that the information taken during the time of the event (for example, the publishing of a job) is the information that is stored and used for the relevant statistics, and therefore cannot be changed after the fact.

Views

This number refers to the total number of views generated by job shares.

Referrals

This number refers to all candidates who finished the first step of the application process.

Please note!

As soon as a candidate finishes the first step, the current location or department of the job is relevant for the statistics.

If a candidate finishes the first step for the job "Office Manager" with the current location "Vienna", and the location is changed later to "Berlin", the referral will correlate with the original information ("Vienna"). The same goes for departments.

Applications

This number refers to all candidates who finished the second step of the application process.

Please note!

As soon as a candidate finishes the fist step, the current location or department of the job is relevant for the statistics.

If a candidate finishes the second step for the job "Office Manager" with the current location "Vienna", and the location is changed later to "Berlin", the referral will correlate with the original information ("Vienna"). The same goes for departments.

Top rated

This number includes all referrals and applications rated with 3 plus points.

If you or a recruiter changes the 3-plus point rating to a 2-plus point (or 1-plus point) rating, the number under "Top Rated" will be reduced.

Please note!

As soon as a candidate finishes the first step, the current location or department of the job is relevant for the statistics.

If a candidate is rated for the job "Office Manager" with the current location "Vienna", and the location is changed later to "Berlin", the referral will correlate with the original information ("Vienna"). The same goes for departments.

Hires

All hires via Employee Referrals are included in this number. The deletion of an application has no impact on the counter.

Please note!

As soon as a candidate finishes the first step, the current location or department of the job is relevant for the statistics.

If a candidate is hired for the job "Office Manager" with the current location "Vienna", and the location is changed later to "Berlin", the referral will correlate with the original information ("Vienna"). The same goes for departments.

Company overview

Below the "Performance Overview" you will find the "Company Overview", which is not filterable.

Top locations

This ranking is always up to date. As soon as an Employee Referrals user changes their location, the ranking will change as well.

Statistic FAQ's

Why does my referral or application not show up under my job location?

As soon as a candidate has finished the first or second application step for a job, the current location or department of the job is relevant for the statistics.

If a candidate finishes the first or second step for the job "Office Manager" with the current location "Vienna", and the location is changed later to "Berlin", the referral will correlate with the original information ("Vienna"). The same goes for departments.

Why are the numbers under "Referrals", "Applications" and "Hires" different?

Referrals: This number shows all candidates who have finished the first step of the application process. The deletion of a referral has no impact on this counter.

Applications: All candidates, who have finished the second step, are included in this number. The deletion of an application has no impact on this counter.

Hires: All hires via Firstbird are included in this number. The deletion of an application has no impact on this counter.
