In case your Employee Referrals account has been integrated with your ATS system, the job will be imported automatically and the information below is not relevant to you.
In your menu bar on the left side, you will find the function "Jobs". Click on "Jobs", and a drop-down menu will open up. This drop-down menu will show three options: "Active", "Draft" and "Archive". Click on "Active" and then on the button "Create a job".
Click on the "+" next to "Active" and you will be directly forwarded to the entry form.
The following fields are available for job creation:
- Job title
- Department: select from the dropdown; if your desired choice is not available, it needs to be added to the Account Preferences (learn more here)
- Location: select from the dropdown; if your desired choice is not available, it needs to be added to the Account Preferences (learn more here)
- Contact person: choose the responsible recruiter. The recruiter needs to be registered as a user in Employee Referrals
- Reward: select from the dropdown; if your desired choice is not available, it needs to be added in the Account Preferences (read more here)
- Branding: select from the dropdown; if your desired choice is not available, it needs to be added in the Account Preferences (see here for more information)
- End date: if needed, add the date when the job should not be available anymore to Talent Scouts, otherwise check the box for "Set unlimited job duration"
- Make the job a hot job: read more about this feature here
- Hiring team: if multiple recruiters should be responsible for this job and its applications, you can add a "hiring team"
- Description: add the text here or upload a video or document (formats supported: .pdf, .jpg, .png or .bmp)
Once you have entered all the necessary information, click on "Publish" to make the job online.
Talent Scouts within the same location or department will be notified via email about the new job. If you publish a "Hot Job," all Talent Scouts will be informed, unless they have deactivated the notification.
Your jobs are categorized into the following groups:
- Active
- Published - the jobs visible to your Talent Scouts (read more here)
- Hidden - expired jobs (read more here)
- Draft - jobs yet to be published (read more here)
- Archive - Hidden Jobs which have been achieved (read more here)
You can duplicate active, hidden, and archived jobs using the "Clone" function.
